The Worcester Chamber Orchestra has been formed by Stephen Shellard to accompany the Cathedral Chamber Choir in major choral works. It is made up of professional players from all over the UK who can play both modern and period instruments. The leader is the gifted violinist Kelly McCusker (pictured right). The orchestra made it's debut with the Choir in Saint Martin's Church, London Road, Worcester on 11th November 2006 when works included Dvorák's Serenade for Strings, Britten's Serenade for tenor Solo, Horn and Strings and Fauré's Requiem.
